Meet the presenter
Mariko Kubo, Operational Director and Head of Global Regulatory, plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategy and operational efficiency. Mariko is a regulatory expert, specialising in Japanese regulation and other global markets. Her 15 years of consultancy experience, coupled with her project management qualification, equip her with a unique skill set that allows her to navigate the complex regulatory landscape with ease. Fluent in Japanese, German and English, Mariko’s linguistic skills further enhance her ability to operate effectively in a global context.
Meet the moderator
Luke Murphy is VP of Key Accounts. Having begun his Leatherhead career in the regulatory team, Luke looks after the key accounts for the Regulatory and Scientific Affairs division. Prior to Leatherhead, Luke worked in industry for five years, with various product development roles and a technical role with Leathams Ltd, a premium food brand. Luke is interested in emerging regulations on sustainability and has a BSc in Food Science from the University of Leeds.
