Leatherhead Food Research, a Science Group company, has maintained its UKAS accreditation as audited against ISO 17025:2017 (general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories). Leatherhead operates as a UKAS accredited testing laboratory (no. 9365).

As a provider of science, technology and consultancy services to global food and beverage brands, the continued achievements further underline Leatherhead’s consistently high standards.

In 2016, following a two-year application process, Leatherhead was the first facility to offer UKAS accredited generation and verification of cooking instructions across comprehensive equipment (gas and electric thermal oven, electric fan oven, gas and electric hob, gas and electric grill and deep fat fryer techniques). Subsequently, in 2018, Leatherhead was granted accreditation for microwave oven cooking techniques and became the first and only accredited provider of food safety challenge testing.
